The purpose of the Award is to support nuclear masters students with travel and associated costs for personal development.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • Enrolled in the Masters of Engineering (8338) Science in Term 1, 2025 (8338); and,
  • Undertaking the Nuclear Engineering specialisation - ENGGPS8338; and,
  • Travelling to undertake a period of study or attend a conference for personal development related to program in Australia or overseas.

  • For applicants undertaking a period of study in Australia or overseas, the following are deemed eligible:
  • An Engineering Elective that requires travel in Australia or overseas.
  • An Engineering Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Program that requires travel in Australia or overseas.
  • An UNSW Official Exchange Program at a UNSW exchange partner university.

  • For applicants attending a conference for personal development related to program in Australia or overseas. The following documents must be uploaded under supporting documentation:
  • A copy of your conference invitation.
  • Selection

    Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

    • Academic merit
    • Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of Nuclear Engineering
    Interviews

    Interviews are not required.
